If you want to make yourself look better, in any way, you can try editing your photos, but this has been done countless times, so there is nothing original about it. If you want to impress your friends with something unique, you can use LifePhotoMaker Pro. It makes it possible to animate various elements in a photo, such as water, fog, grass and more, add weather effects and a soundtrack. If you are familiar with any image editor, you will not have any difficulties with this one.

The software's installation files is roughly 5 Mb large. You will have to go through a standard setup process. There are no confusing options to encounter along the way and the software will be ready in a few moments.

Regarding the user interface, LifePhotoMaker Pro is a very simplified version of an image editor. It includes basic tools, but they are all you need to create realistic effects. The software focuses mainly on water. It uses a distortion effect, which you may customize, to make the water behave like in real life. Creating such an effect is very easy. Using a pen tool, you will have to draw a mask over the water in your picture. The program's distortion effect will be applied only to your marked area.

LifePhotoMaker Pro lets you customize the effect in a very flexible manner. You will have to click and drag a few sliders, located on the right side of the interface, to adjust the amplitude, frequency, ripple effect, distortion and speed. These are the key elements that will animate the water. Additionally, you may tick a series of options to activate vertical, horizontal and perspective waves, as well as a reflection effect. It is possible to select a direction as well.

You may need to experiment with the adjustments for a while, because it is very probable that you will not succeed the first time, but through trial end error, you will eventually animate the water in your pictures in a very realistic manner. To help you learn faster, the software comes with a series of presets, which can be applied on oceans, rivers, waterfalls, lakes and more. Once you select a preset, the adjustments will be made automatically and you can make further tweaks if you are not satisfied with the effect.

By applying presets, you will have a general idea on what settings to make for specific types of water masses (lakes, oceans, etc) and, in time, you won't need the presets anymore. A series of sample projects are available as well, so you can see the various possibilities that LifePhotoMaker Pro places at your disposal. You may draw and configure up to six different masks on the same picture. If, for example, you have a waterfall, you can animate the waterfall and the lake beneath it separately.

Besides water, you can use the same distortion effects to animate other elements, such as grass, smoke, fog and so on. The software makes it possible to add weather effects as well. You can add rain or snow and adjust their speed, opacity and more. Another feature is the possibility of adding one or more soundtracks to your project. Finally, you can save the animation as a video file, animated GIF or as a screensaver.

Pros

The first aspect you will appreciate is the fact that LifePhotoMaker Pro is very easy to use. The final product can look very good and you will not have any difficulties creating the animation. The software is lightweight and it can be installed rapidly, so you can get started immediately.

Cons

The software's zoom functions are not very comfortable. Being able to adjust the zoom level with a slider would be an improvement. LifePhotoMaker's unique capabilities enable you to bring your pictures to life. Thanks to its simplicity, you may create realistic effects, while making minimal efforts.
